We are so excited to celebrate our wedding weekend with you in the Ozarks! We know getting to Eureka Springs will be a journey for many of you, so while we're still working through the details, we’ve rounded up some basics to help you begin planning your travel.

Eureka Springs is a historic mountain town with the largest collection of Victorian architecture in the middle of America, over 60 natural (cool water) springs, and a vibrant local arts scene. It's a fantastic weekend getaway, and we encourage guests with extra time to make a trip out of it.

Head into downtown Eureka Springs for dinner, drinks, and dancing in the historic top-floor Barefoot Ballroom at the Basin Park Hotel.

A casual Sunday morning grab-and-go/brunch before everyone hits the road. Location TBD!

Early Planning: Getting & Staying Here

Getting Here & Getting Around

Being a mountain town, all the roads coming in are windy... that's why 26 miles as the crow flies takes an hour to drive, and why so many bikers and car clubs love driving through Eureka Springs.

Flying In (XNA)

Nearest Airport: Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is a beautiful airport to fly into, easy to fly out of, and about 1:15 scenic (and windy) drive to Eureka Springs. Serviced daily by Delta, United, and American Airlines.

Ground Transport: Uber/Lyft is unpredictable for the drive into the mountains (and unavailable for return trips). We recommend renting a car, pre-booking a shuttle, or letting us know if you'd be interested in catching a wedding shuttle.

Driving & Riding In

Amtrak & Greyhound: The nearest Amtrak stations are in Kansas City, MO and Little Rock, AR. Regional buses connect from these cities to Fayetteville, where there's also a Greyhound station. Fayetteville is about an hour's drive to Eureka Springs.

Driving: Many people get car sick coming into Eureka Springs due to the windy roads. It's best to drive slow and enjoy the scenery! We'll share more as the date gets closer about the best roads and routes to take as you're driving in from any direction.

Parking & Trolley System

No Car Needed Downtown: Eureka Springs has narrow streets and limited downtown parking, but you won't need to drive! The city operates a trolley system with loops connecting major hotel areas straight to downtown.

Wedding Shuttles: We'll be working out and sharing shuttle information as the date nears.

Where to Stay

Eureka Springs is a popular weekend destination, and most hotels haven't opened up online booking for 2027 yet (so may show as "unavailable" online despite not being booked out yet). Please let us know if you'll likely be looking for lodging, and we'll let you know as soon as we confirm our room blocks. The UFO Convention will be in town our same weekend, so once online booking opens up, hotels may fill up quickly.

Recommended Hotels

Basin Park Hotel: Located in the heart of downtown where our reception will be held. Built in 1905, this is a convenient option for those who don't mind crooked floors and small spaces ... or the ocassional ghost.
Forest Springs Resort: A brand-new hotel nestled in the trees just off the "ridge" highway that circles town for a convenient stay. Has group spaces for socializing and live music.
The Wanderoo Lodge: A casual, queer friendly & popular local spot with economic room options, bar/restaurant onsite with live music, and outdoor firepit.

Cabins & RV Parks

Lake Leatherwood City Park: A beautiful park with RV hookups, primitive campsites, and cabins. And it sits on the Trolley Route, so you can ride straight from your campsite into town!
Cottages & AirBnBs: There are countless historic cottages, AirBnB/VRBO cabins, and B&Bs tucked throughout the hills surrounding town. You can check out some managed by our friends at Blessed Bohemian Properties and Gypsy Camp.
